This is one of the worst purchases I have ever made, this soundbar sucks!
I bought this soundbar about a year ago and I deeply regret buying it and I'm in the process of getting rid of it, I have nothing good to say about this machine, I mean, picture quality is good and sound is ok, but this thing will freeze 3 out of 10 times and I don't mean the DVD, NO!, I mean the whole machine will get stuck when I turn it on or when I'm trying to open the console to insert a DVD and I have to unplug it and plug it again so it will reset, I mean, WTF!!!!????, this was a $500 mac...

Great idea, but limited options with multiple inputs
I purchased this system at a retail store at about the same price, after tax, as Amazon is offering it. The only reason I didn't buy it on Amazon was due to the reviews I read here first, but I wanted to see if I could make the system work. My primary concern wasn't true "surround sound," as I knew this would be a compromise. However, as one review I read noted, the only digital hookup on the Philips is coaxial, not optical. This was a problem for me, as I have Direct TV and a PS3 that I use a B...

Simple-Elegant-Powerful
I recently purchased this from Costco for $[...]...and was a big skeptical after reading reviews here. After purchasing and hooking it up (which took me total 22 minutes) I thought to add a 5-star review of my own.
If you really want to hear the bullet coming from rear speaker while watching James Bond movie..then go and purchase $1000 Bose or Polk audio system. Because this one won't do that for you.
I love this product because it replaced, my Kenwood receiver, 6 speakers, Samsung...
