The little remote that could
This remote is getting 5 stars because it does everything I need without spending $150 and without the fuss of RF, LCD screens and rechargeable batteries which inevitably give out. This remote has the 3 most important features - learning, key override (aka punch-through), and macros. About the only thing I'd change about this remote is having a few more nonspecific buttons available for assigning keys that One-For-All did not anticipate. For example, my cable box remote has A,B,C, & D but...

First universal remote, and it's done everything we've needed from it
The best part about this remote is that it can "learn" new functions from the remotes it's replacing. Unique buttons like "tape position" from an old VCR remote can be assigned to one of the bottom keys. My only complaint is that the top and bottoms of the remote are too similar; I can't tell you how many times I've tried to turn the TV on with the remote upside down. Still, highly recommended.
