It is a very useful product and definitely worth its price The main advantage of the "Coby CX-R189 Digital Voice Recorder" is its integrated speaker, so I don't need to use headphones. The sound quality is O.K.

The disadvantage - it looks that the materials which the product is made of are the cheapest. I guess that it won't last for more than a year or two.

Anyway, I'm glad that I bought it.

software not developed The recorder works well. the problem is the transfer/conversion software. The file format is non-standard and I must transfer, then convert to "WAV" format. The s/w(PowerSunSoft, Voice Manager) is not fully developed yet as I can only use one of 4 qualities to record and convert; no MP3 option or space-saving options. –Ruth A. Jewellfrom Amazon.com
