high performance and high value AND toilet proof. I've had the red one for about a year. For the money i think it is the best value out there. For certain tasks it is better than higher priced items.

I use it for podcasts, music, and audiobooks. I use Media Monkey to sync the device and it is pretty painless. Most of the learning is related to the software not the device. Drag and Drop also works well, although this is too time consuming for me. There is some quirkiness in that podcasts get put into the music folder but practically it m... –Roccofrom Amazon.com

Oh god - please don't waste your money on this... What more can I say... Good luck even having your computer identify that you have it plugged in. And, don't expect any support from Sansa customer support. Just don't buy this. I have 2 and both are useless. –Dr. Mikefrom Amazon.com
