It's an Ipod
Like most Apple products, it works and is easy to use. I got it for my kids and of course they knew how it works without any instruction (even without any video game or cell phone experience).

Glad they went back to the original design
I'm reviewing this only in terms of comparison to the other generations of iPod nanos. If you're buying an iPod, you probably already know what you're in for in terms of UI, design quality, etc. My complaint is in the switch from the long body to the short stubby version. I'm a guy and I have guy hands and this form factor is difficult to use compared to the old and new generations.
