Does NOT work with iPod Touch ... photo and description are MISLEADING This does NOT work with iPod Touch or iPhone. There is a second plug sticking out of the bottom that you can't see from the product photograph. I just uploaded my own photograph of this product as a "customer image". Take a look at that before you buy this. If you have an older iPod model that fits those plugs, then this may well work for you.

Works well for me I bought this after researching the product to make sure it was compatable with my ipod, which it was. I paired this with an Olympus ME-15 microphone, and the quality is better than I had expected! I do a podcast from my truck, and the mic gain control is just perfect. I have experienced none of the static or hiss as described in another review. The light on the front does a great job of letting me know if my levels are too high, as well. Terrible audio quality...... If you are planning on recording music to this, or high quality lectures or talks, DO NOT GET THIS. It seems to be well made, and works seemlessly with my ipod, but the audio quality is terrible. There is static galore on all mic levels. Not recommended. Spend your money on something else. –B.
