Silicon case incresed my grip on the product.
I have also tried the hard plastic cases made for this unit, they break easily. This silicone type is the best way to get the bulky Zune out of your pocket and either clipped on a pocket or wrapped on an arm....

Not exactly what I wanted.
I got this hoping it would allow me to keep the Zune (30GB original) as slim as possible, which it does, however I didn't care for the clip that's on the back of it and the screen protector isn't real clear. It got a kind of powdery dust inside after being on for a while and one of the nice things with the Zune is the bright and clear screen, something this skin detracts from.
