12 Feb 2009 GREAT SOUND QUALITY OVERALL This is the second unit I've purchased. The first was fine, the second one I had to send back because the CD doors were defective and would not open properly after pushing the button. Other than that, I find the sound quality superior, and being a professional recording artist, I am quite impressed with the clarity and resolution of the speaker system. 29 Dec 2008 The CD doors on the unit malfunctioned from the day I got it This was my Christmas gift and my husband and I spent a lot of time researching a new cd player before we settled on it. I was very disappointed when I received it and set it up and it didn't work. The iPod portion worked fine but neither of the doors on the cd player worked. One just opened and closed repeatedly by itself and the other side wouldn't open at all. I sent it back to the manufacturer and besides acknowledging it's receipt, I haven't received a response as to when they are going to ... –cathy cfrom Amazon.com
19 Jul 2008 If I had it to do again.... I am very disappointed with this product. The iLuv does an okay job playing music. The bass is, well, nonexistant! Sure it's cute and trendy to look at. But it really doesn't do as well of a job as I expected for about $200 dollars. The only thing I should have to add to this product is my iPod. For that price I shouldn't HAVE to add an external subwoofer! I feel like I got taken.
