06 May 2009 Decent little speaker This little speaker isn't bad. Sure, turning it on is kind of a pain (actually I always left mine on with no discernible battery drain when not plugged in to my iPhone), and the battery cover is tough to get in place on the first try. But it produced decent-quality sound at a low price.

I do advise, however, that one should not accidentally dump a litre of fine German beer onto the speaker, as it will likely stop working a few weeks afterward and need to be disposed of properly.... –Justinfrom Amazon.com
05 May 2009 ALRIGHT So, this is a pretty cool little (not soo Little) gadget. The sound quality is OK.. not the best, and it is not good for the beach neither. It's okay to use while relaxing with some friends. WHen the sound starts to act all Weird.. ITS NOT THE SPEAKER, just make sure to change all three batteries, I thought I had blown the speaker. Don't turn up your IPOD to the fullest cause it WILL distort the sound of it.

30 Apr 2009 Poor construction! I picked up 2 of these speakers for my kids to use with their iPods. The speaker turns on/off by twisting the silver ring which runs around the entire top of the speaker. It's hard as hell to twist!!! It feels like your gonna break it if you continue twisting with full strength! Once turned on they sound great. I'm a 45 year old man with a pretty good grip and even I find it hard to turn on/off. Because of on/off issue my kids no longer use these speakers. Don't buy this product! –Dred242from Amazon.com
