At what I paid for, it's a 4-star product... What a strange combination, a camera and a Hi-MD player! Ignoring the list price for a second, this was obviously a failed project that some "smart" guy at Sony thought would put MD ahead of iPod. The problem comes from the fast decreasing prices of technology OR the increasing functionality. On a different level, what am I supposed to do, keep a spare MD ready for pictures or leave some room on each music MD for pictures? Impractical...

My review of DH10P I recently bought the DH10P and i'm very happy with it.
It is very solid build and scratch resistant. The screen is still like new thanks to a special resin coating of the screen (it looks like Glas witch is used for sandblasting cambers, witch keeps its clearity for a long time). I would say it is one of the best made music players there is.

Sound quality is also pretty good and beats most of the players thanks to the equalizer. But what i like the most is the very low noise level at... –Albert Einsteinfrom Amazon.com

The MZ-DH10P is INCREDIBLE! Though Sony has discontinued this model, I see it is still being sold so I wanted to jot down some thoughts on it. I'm not sure why Sony takes all the time it does to come up with new products, to only discontinue making them six months later. Very bizarre.

I own several minidisc players and I must say, the MZ-DH10P is by far the nicest I've ever seen. The price of it has gone down immensely since it came out. I own an ipod which is nice to just keep at work but I have a fascination for ... –DJ Ridgefrom Amazon.com
