Top notch device
I bought this device to upgrade from a very old iRiver H10. I wanted a device that wasn't made by Apple, and something that would play videos, music, and have the ability to surf the web at school and on the go. The Archos 5 has all of the features I wanted, plus more.
IN the fisrt week is died!!! and customer service is fatal!!
The firt weekend thw achos 5 is died, I call to the archos customer service and send email, nothing hapen. they naver call me back....achos sucks

Another Archos Dead After A Month
Once again I fell for the bells, whistles, and advertising known as archos. My history started with the Archos 20mb recorder several years ago. It went and went until it didnt have no more to give. I then stepped up to the 605 which died after about 3 months. After a month of non returned phone calls & un returned emails I was able to get it RMA's. A 3 month long RMA and I got a refurb (not the same one) finally in return, which died as well. Both units worked well for thier brief stin...
