Get the job done
I bought these to add to my family room t.v. for those moments I just need to crank it up (music video, American Idol song, awards show, etc). They are hooked up to a Harmon Kardon receiver which is about 10 yrs old, but they get the job done. They definitely serve their purpose....

Great speakers at a great price!
I bought these speakers on 4/17/09 and chose super saver (free) shipping to save 40 bucks. They shipped on 4/20/09, fedex overnight and I got them 4/21/09. That's fantastic! The speakers themselves were just the right hight for me and they sound fantastic, but also important to me was that I owned a 5.1 surround sound system with all black Sony speakers exactly like these - so everything matches perfectly. I can't say enough about the sound quality either. Music, sports, movies, everything ...

I agree with previous favorable reviews. These speakers may not equal the sound quality of much more expensive models, but they come close enough to make the price difference to step up unreasonable for most people.
