What a value! In shopping for in-ceiling speakers for our Sonos system, I came across HiFi Works. Since their parent company (Sonance) did high custom installation speakers, I figured I would give them a shot. We installed this speaker pair in our bedroom. They sound great for the price. Even the bass response was better than I had expected.

not the size they say they are cut out is actually 7 5/8", not the 8.15" listed in the description. Since I needed to fill an existing cut out, this difference was unacceptable. –F. Parrofrom Amazon.com

Installation Hassle Although the speakers look and sound great, I had difficulty with the "simple" installation. The screws used to secure the speakers to the wall/ceiling were not long enough to get clearence for the "wings" to open behind the wall/ceiling surface.
