Of questionable value....
I am an amateur astronomer with 40+ years of experience. I have this filter mounted on my 8" Celestron SCT (C8). This particular scope has excellent optics, is kept perfectly collimated, & should be able to view objects down to 15th magnitude. With the filter mounted, however, I can rarely make out objects of 12.5 magnitude, & usually have to strain to attain 12th magnitude objects, even with high surface brightness. Despite the 'fluff' in the advertising, I can detect no visual evid...
