Great peice of equipment. This camera adapter is a great piece of equipment. It's a little on the bulky side, and I think
the price is a little high, but you won't find it at a better price any where ells. It's pretty
adjustable, even my video camera fits on the platform. Works well with my Cannon A590.

Not for 2" EP or camcorders My main reason for purchasing this device was to be able to do a variety of eyepiece astrophotography. I attempted to hook up one of my 2" eye pieces and a Sony Cyber Camera to this adapter and it won't work. The camera platform is too short in all vertical adjustments to bring the camera's lens dead center into the 2" eyepiece. Also I attempted to hook up my Sony camcorder and one of my 1-1/4" eye pieces and again - the platform was not deep enough on the horizontal plane to enable the camco... –G. Hozafrom Amazon.com

Excellent item What a nice item. It would work with almost any camera or digital camera. We used Sony DSP200. My 8 years old son used it to take lunar eclipse and won his elementary school competition. We also used it to view the eclipse by camera's LCD. When family wants to look at object via telescope, we do not have to take a turns any more. We just attach this adapter and digital camera. –S. Ejirifrom Amazon.com
