Runs fine, but...
This purifier is quite during the low setting. The high setting cranks out the power. My only gripe is that you can't put this on an automatic timer. If you do, one the timer shuts off the unit, the unit will not turn back on once the timer comes back on...you have to manuualy turn on the unit. It was delivered within 5 days. It's also lightweight and can be moved from room to room easiely....

Folks, don't waste your time with those Ionizers that I found can actually worsen allergy symptoms by releasing the chemical ozone. I do my research & this baby went straight into my bedroom. I was and still am amazed at how quiet this thing is. Imagine the sound of air coming from the central air vents in your house & thats about how loud it is. Not very. And I don't see the amount of dust floating through the air anymore. Just keep your bedroom door closed as much as possible & let...

My husband was having difficulty with allergies and our family doctor recommended a hepa air cleaner. After hours and hours of research, I decided on the Honeywell 18155 SilentComfort Permanent, True HEPA Air Purifier. It had been a miracle worker.
