Rather carefree
So, I've been using Humidifiers for a many years now, and I finally got tired of having the cheapy humidifiers melt down (you know the ones you buy at the drug store for $30). So, I bit the bullet and got the Honeywell HCM-6011i QuietCare 11-Gallon Console Humidifier with Air Washing Technology (what a mouth full!).
Pleased so far.
I did have to tighten up the screws that hold the fan assy together to get rid of an annoying buzzing noise. Other than that I like it. I think the complaints about having to hold the tanks while filling because the top is not flat are blown out of proportion.

We researched and researched a humidifier for us...we felt we made a good decision...the day we rec'd it...we opened it and set it up...we followed step by step...the lights would flash but it never started up...after a horribly long wait (very difficult to get to a live person) to KAZ (not honeywell) on the phone...the nice service man apologized and said the fan does not work on our new humidifier. We decided to return it to the maker instead of amazon because we really need this humidifier f...
