29 Apr 2009 Good air flow, quiet operation I'm pretty happy with this fan. I replaced a different small desktop tower type fan with this one. The old fan was just too noisy. This is much quieter. 25 Apr 2009 Innovative design works well This vertical design met a very specific need to occupy the smallest footprint, while covering a wide pattern at variable speeds. I'm quite satisfied that it met all my needs and with the exception of an extra sound (like rubbing or brinding) at the end of each oscillation, I'm pleased with the performance. I hope that the extra rubbing sound works its way out over time. I found it puts out plenty of air at fairly quiet noise level and the Lasko name has been very trustworthy in my purchasing... –Jimfrom Amazon.com
24 Mar 2009 Nice but big and cracked Received unit and it worked right out of the box. However, I should have paid a little more attention to the size listing. This unit almost matches the size of a 2-liter soda bottle. Also, the shipping was packed poorly. The top half has a severe crack where it looks like it was dropped. Since it still works ok, it wasn't worth the hassle or cost of having it shipped back. If you are looking for a "thin" unit to sit on your desk at work, you may want to look elsewhere. –Michael P.
