Not built to last This washer is so convenient, perfectly sized, washes my clothes beautifully-but it's not built to last. First off I had to buy an extra rubber washer to put in the hose because of a massive leak. It's fine for now, though I hear a clicking sound during spin which I'm praying is nothing. We had taken the back plate off for a look inside, and this is very hastily put together and rather primitive (clumps of wires literally taped together). I don't understand why the company wouldn't put a bit mor... –Bookdfrom Amazon.com

Excellent washer Based on all the reviews listed here - and the price - I chose the Haier HLP21E. Thanks for all the info on the bottom plate and the screws. I only had to purchase s stronger screwdriver to force the screws through the metal. The machine is so quiet I had to keep checking to be sure it was running. The faucet adapter works with the bathroom sink and the hose runs into the bathtub, draped over the bath rail. A great purchase.

LINT FILTER - Does anyone know how to remove it? Thanks! –max843from Amazon.com

Haier HLP23E Portable Top-Load Washer I can't review the Haier HLP23E Portable Top-Load Washer, yet, on its page.
But, so you know, if you came here (like I did for weeks) to try to find out something ..
I've had mine 48 hours so far (a dozen loads of laundry) and I love it! I read all of these reviews before I ordered it; so far, no surprises. Of course it's different, but appears to be equally great. Thank you to everyone who reviewed the Haier HLP21E here!! –W. Dorritiefrom Amazon.com
