Seems to be a great washer!
My 3-year old Whirlpool duet front loader was giving out & the repairs were so expensive that I chose to purchase new machines. I've only done a couple of loads in this machine, but it seems to do a great job! Yes, better than the Whirlpool it replaced. Not a disappointment. I got the matching steam dryer and the laundry folding top (which I just love). Overall, I am pleased with the purchase. Advice: Do yourself a favor and get the extended warranty. They cost less than a repair call....

The only choice!
When my old top-loading washing machine broke down, I was determined to get a new front-loader. Reading the reviews on most of them, however, really made me nervous. I easily narrowed my options and finally chose this Maytag 4.0 cu ft Performance Series. Now I wonder why I ever considered anything else! I still don't know how it manages to clean clothes so well using so little water, but it does an excellent job! The wash cycles take a bit longer than I'm used to, but even heavy grass stain...
