Worth every dime I bought these for a xmas party being held in my backyard. The arrival time was great, the unit is really great. It was so good and mobil it got a workout being moved here and there to as the party move from one area to the other. We had some friends come over in January for Super Bowl and turned it on and got in the spa. Our patio is up on a hill and wide open not sheltered and it still kept us warm in an area of about 10' out in front, not a lot of real heat at rear or sides.

Second time's a charm This is a well-made, hardy product that comes in one piece and is easy to attach to a propane tank. It's easy to light and it has 3 heater settings -- and it throws out a lot of heat. So, just about perfect, except that the heater generated a harmonic (but nevertheless disturbing) "whine" after a few minutes; and it wouldn't go away. I contacted the Mr. Heater company and they asked me to use it a little more, to see if the whine went away. It didn't. So I let them know that and they sent m... –R. Potterfrom Amazon.com

Mr. Heater, the hottest little heater Mr. Heater may not be as attractive as some outdoor heaters but this little heater throws out an incredible amount of heat. A few of these on a cool night and you and your guest will be incredibly warm. We spray painted our propane tank to coordinate with the colors in our backyard and it actually does not look bad. –J.
