Great baby monitor!
Before buying this product, I tried the summer infant day & night handheld video monitor (w/ 2.5 inch screen). As it turned out, our neighbor had one so we could see their baby on one channel -- and they would be able to see ours. Not so appealing. The reception wasn't very good either -- depending on how you held the monitor, the picture would fade in and out. So we returned the summer infant monitor and tried this one. I was concerned that the 2.4 Ghz frequency would interfere w/ our w...

Depends on the need
This was our second monitor we bought. It has since been returned. What we did not like about it:

the only con i have would be that the unit gets a little hot when it is being carried around...
