450' Give Me A Break
I have a kennel 150' away from my house. I was hoping the unit would work, even though the building is cement block. It would not. I tried the unit outside the building and it still would not connect. Sent back. Tried the "First Alert" unit that comes with a picture frame monitor and works even inside the building....

Better than your average wireless camera but still has interference issues.
I was very hopeful and wanted a wireless security system without having the hassle of drilling holes through my house. Digital wireless technology seems promising since the claim is that it won't interfere with existing 2.4ghz devices, NOT TRUE. The image quality is great on my unit and did not loose any color and the image is clean/crisp, however, when the camera/receiver is plugged in, my 802.11g wireless is very sluggish. POOR to NO NIGHT VISION
Ok for daytime, but not what I expected. For the money, the night vision should own up to the word "Night Vision." Night vision is literally non-existant. I went onto Costco and bought a real hard wired system: Q-See. I have some tips on tht if interested. Dont waste your money on Lorex.
