18 Apr 2009 Sangeaqn Clock Radio RCR2 I purchased the Sangean RCR2 after my trusted Magnavox clock radio died. I was surprised at how difficult it was to find another suitable clock ardio. As a matter of fact, I purchased 3 different clock radios but had to return them because they had poor FM recpetion and could not bring in the signal for my favorite morning station. 10 Apr 2009 Very good alarm, with some unfortunate flaws This is a great alarm clock, with some very nice features, including,

+ The ability to set two separate alarms that go off on specified days of the week,

+ The rock solid time due to the atomic clock synchronization ability,

+ Good, resonant sound from the radio with 7 presets,

+ A good alarm that starts off quiet and gets progressively louder,

+ A bunch of other features, including nap alarms, daylight savings time setting, etc.

01 Apr 2009 OK not great I have to say that this radio is a bit of a dissapointment. There is nothing intuitive about setting it up or using it - so I need to use the not very well written manual.
The atonic clock feature can take up to four days to set - not at all helpful. The battery backup if a complet failure.
On the plus side the radio quality is quite good and once you learn how to set the alarm it is much better than most. –Elizabeth Jonesfrom Amazon.com
