Very Sensitive AM, Transformer Doesn't Hum
I have a later production model of this radio. I have not found the power supply to hum at all (another reviewer found it to be a problem). My major listening is to AM HD radio stations such as WLW in Cincinnati and WOSU (NPR News and Talk) in Columbus, OH. I live about 60 miles from Columbus and about 35 miles from Cincinnati. This radio pulls in both signals perfectly in AM HD using the supplied AM antenna. I also have had good luck pulling in WBBM-AM (780 kHz) in Chicago in HD at 10 PM ...

Pretty Decent
The radio was exactly what i was looking for. Perfect size. The HD radio is great. And it works with all my ipods. Best deal by far. Also Audio IN jack is great as well! i have it plugged into my mac pro. It's so easy to switch between inputs. And it has iTunes tagging which is ALWAYS convenient.

Great Toy with a Few Absent Features
I just got this puppy off the clearance rack for 50$. Sure it was a display model, and it was missing the remote but I was able to take care of that. (Sony's Customer Service is Great) You definitely need a little more than the antennas provided to get a good signal, when I paired it with a boosted Panasonic antenna I found at a thrift store I was able to pick up signals from at least 50 miles around.
