The Makita ML143 14.4 v fluorescent light is an excellent product. The charger is fast, the light holds a charge for weeks, the run time when the light is on is hours, the light gives amazing illumination in any situation. My biggest problem with it is that I had to buy all three components separately and by the time I bought the necessary parts to make the light functional, the $40 price for the light turned into almost $100 for the light, battery and charger. Nice but pricey
It's a useful if unspectacular tool -- hey it's a flourescent work lite, what else can be said? I wouldn't recommend purchasing this tool unless you already own a bunch of Makita tools and already have a collection of 14.4 pod style batteries -- buying this tool and a battery and a charger would be costly. However, if you do have a bunch of the pods available for use, then this tool is a nice addition to repetoire.
