One of the best flashlights I've ever owned
I bought this light to replace one that I had for 5 years but lost. I am a police officer and this light fits perfectly on my duty belt. I do not need to carry a bulky Maglight or other large flashlight. The Streamlight is much brighter also. It fits well in the hand and the beam can pierce the darkness with ease. For the size, this thing is super bright, as good or better than a double D type light. I've had mine for over 2 years now, constant daily use, and haven't had to swap the bulb or battery. If you leave it on, it will get super hot. I've heard it will blow the bulb if you drop it hot. You can put it on the charger and leave it there, it won't overcharge. On a full charge, it will last all day, but starts to go dim towards the end. I wish it had something to keep it from rolling when you lay...
