Bad buy if you have hardwood
I got this vacuum a few months ago and wish I hadnt bought it at all.
It sucks up cat hair no problem. That's about it though.
I have hardwood floors, I have cats and dogs. The cats use clay litter and track it onto the floor sometimes.
At first I thought this was cleaning very well, then I wore shorts while standing behind the vacuum. It shoots the clay litter right out the back and hits me in the legs.
It basically just clears a section and then you have to turn aro...

Like it so far
Haven't had the vacuum for too long, but like it so far. It's so easy to push I don't see how the self-propelled model could be much easier. It's not too loud and the suction seems great. It doesn't have an option to turn off the roller, which I thought it would since it can be used on bare floors. And, since you can't turn off the roller, I'm not quite sure what you're supposed to do when you're using the hose. It is ok to leave the vacuum in one spot on carpet with the roller moving? Spe...

The Best Low Price Upright on the Market
If you are looking for a great, low priced, bagged upright, this is the one. I looked for a very long time and it was very difficult to find a quality upright for under $200. Most of the uprights in the big box stores were bagless (what a mess). I gave this one a shot based on Hoover's great video. I have been using it for a while now and it does a great job. The HEPA Filter works great and the suction is amazing. Sure, if you're used to $800 vacuum cleaners, this one may not blow you away. Howe...
