Scooba is worth a chance
I was wary about spending this kind of money on something w/ so many low ratings. I took a chance on the idea that people might be operating the Scooba incorrectly or might have a singularly defective product. I'm glad I did.

I luvs my Scooba iRobot
I bought this for Suzy because we couldn't keep up with the cats and dawgs. We luv it to pieces. Fill it up, turn in on, run it, clean it up, and put it away for next time. Five minutes our time vs. 20+ minutes to do manually.
Is it perfect? No, there are some smudge marks that I catch when finished. But it is a 90% solution for us. And the house smells so good afterwards.

Read everything carefully a couple of times, watched videos on the irobot site, read customer reviews, STILL needed some handholding. Fortunately tech support is superb, especial when you describe the circumstances),...
