A bit large, but still a better bet than Ambien or Lunesta.
This one replaces a Sharper Image pillow speaker that got left behind on a trip. The Sangean costs about ten dollars more and is twice as large as the Sharper Image speaker. Not for books on tape
I am actually searching right now to replace this same speaker and want to add my review. It just doesn't work, at least not for me. I use this to listen to books on tape and find that to hear from this speaker and to understand what you are hearing are two different things. I have to have it turned up so loud to understand it that not only can my husband next to me hear it but I can hear (not understand) it from across the room. I don't know if it would be any different for someone listening to...
