I think it's cute.
I do love the way this lamp looks on my desk. Its great because it doesnt take up much space. I do like the dim yellow glow, it is not too bright, not too dark. It really adds a neat lighting effect in the room.

Based on the images available we really weren't expecting an ultra high-quality lamp, it was just going to be a nightlight anyway. But when my son opened it and we set it up, it was actually more durable than we were expecting. So far it works fine and my son loves it.

Poor construction
I bought this for my oldest son, who is a Pokemon lover. He has a Pokemon room, and I thought this would complete the look. I was very disappointed with the quality right out of the box. It's extremely ligh-weight, thin plastic contstruction makes it prone to breaking... which it did within the first few days. The thin plastic stem, is only glued to the top portion of the lamp.
