Powerhorse of a pump
This pump works amazing with my 18'X48" metal frame pool. The 1500GPH one that came with the pool was useless and algae and sediment were constantly cycling through the filter no matter how often it was rinsed or changed. Once this pump was hooked up, we saw a huge difference in the pool clarity overnight! No more green, cloudy water or layer of sediment on the bottom like I'd been struggling with for months using the stock pump.
This is not a toy, it is a pool filter - wrong catagory
This pump works so well. I would recommend it to anyone who owns a large Intex Easy Set Pool - don't even bother with the one that comes with it. You will save the money on chemicals and time in the initial years use. This pump is a powerhorse. Order now, in time for next summer!
This pump may be too good
This pump is definitely better than the model 635 that came with my pool but there are a few things you should be aware of. First, air gets stuck in the pump section when you first install it and the only way to get it out is to turn the pump almost upside down so the air goes into the filter where it can be bled off.
