Not real burlwood, but rather a cheap laminate print of burlwood
This case was ok, and for $40 (including shipping), it's not a terrible deal. But it certainly is not what they claimed it to be in the item description- "handcrafted burlwood". Rather, it's a cheap burlwood laminate print (ie. not even a real burlwood veneer, which would have been much better than a print, if not as good as real burlwood). You can clearly see that it's a laminate where the seams come together on the corners. And it's clearly a print (and not particularly high-resolution, either...
