Junk in almost every respect
I think it's fair to say that almost every aspect of this watch is lousy. The only thing I like unequivocally is that I lucked out and got a unit that keeps very accurate time (it gains less than one second per month). But the drawbacks more than outweigh that minor plus.
Altimeter Watch
I bought this watch because of the Timex reputation and its attractiveness in relationship to most other altimeter watches. The watch is attractive and keeps good time, but the desired altimeter function of elevation gain does not work at all. Very disappointing.

You get what you pay for
Purchased item to get the altimeter, so I can have that info available as I travel. This is a well presented product, nicely finished, fairly easy to operate. It just didn't provide meaningful accuracy in the altimeter mode. It was not acceptable for my purposes. I will probably have to pay significantly more to get the altimeter performance I'm seeking.
