Works great Good heavy duty pot. Made lots of soup with it and cooked pasta. The only improvement I would ask is for more drainage in the pasta insert. Other than that it's a great addition to the kitchen. i expect this pot to be around for quite a while. –W. Hohauserfrom Amazon.com

Disappointed with pot The pot heats well but the holes in the pasta insert are too big and allows a great deal of pasta through to the pot. This defeats the purpose of a pasta pot. The insert also gives the pasta a metalic taste. The insert is highly polished on the outside but not on the inside. This could be the reason for the metallic taste. –Christopher R. Good Pot, But.... I agree completely with Steve B's review. The pot is fine and up to Calphalon expectations. However, Amazon continues its practice of false or misleading pricing information. The list price from Calphalon is 99, not the 210 displayed with the product. So, once again, Amazon attempts to lure customers with false advertising. At least I made my purchase knowing the actual cost. –Paul C. Whitefrom Amazon.com
