Just not what I'd hoped.
I knew that any powered sharpening system was suspect, however when I received the 110 as a gift I gave it a try. It is such a poor sustitute for an easy hand powered system like the EdgePro. No comparison. The 110 scratched the face of my expensive knives. It produce only a moderately sharp edge. I am now only sharpening with the EdgePro System. Better Than Nothing
Used this for the first time today on a 29-year-old 6" Sabatier stainless steel kitchen knife. It is definitely awkward to use and there is a learning curve even after reading the instructions carefully. I found a way to use it which is not documented in the instructions: before lowering the blade into contact with the grinding wheels, lay the blade against the magnet and lower it in with a "slicing" motion.
