Pretty?, YES...Pretty durable?, NO
I have replaced this due to the original taking a fall into the sink and breaking (my fault). The Replacement unit blade assembly shaft broke while making the first batch of frozen drinks. I am done with the glass jar. Will try my luck with the S.S. version...

Works great - for a while
This is a great blender. However, I've had to replace the jar twice in two years. Both times there were problems with the assembly that spins the blades. Once it just started leaking. Another time it flew apart while blending a smoothie.
Waring Pro Blender
This blender makes the best smoothies I have ever made. It grinds the ice better than any blender I have ever used. I would not be without it.
