Nice little carafe
I bought an unbreakable steel carafe to replace the tiny glass one I broke. This Medelco "Universal" replacement doesn't quite fit my coffee maker, but I've figured out a way to use it anyway. It's also easy to clean and I don't have to worry about accidentally breaking it.

Inconvenient pouring
This is the second replacement carafe I have bought for my DeLonghi 4 cup coffee maker. I love that it is stainless so I don't have to worry about my kids smashing it to bits (which is what happened to the last replacement carafe), but you have to be wary of pouring with it. The spout is very small and if you don't pour VERY slowly while the lid is down, your coffee will drip all over. If you raise the lid part way to avoid spilling while pouring, the steam is too hot to allow you to hold the...
