11 Mar 2009 Great deal I have a Mr Coffee 4 cup brewer and trying to order from the company was ridiculous. The item listed for $15 but the shipping was... $60!!! Glad Amazon had more selections for my brewer. The item arrived promptly and the quality is excellent. The strainer is all round including the bottom. Some say you lose the full potential of brewing since it doesn't saturate the grinds throughly but since the drip is fast enough it has enough time to saturate the grinds. 05 Mar 2009 Saves on papaer waste, but coffee is weak I have thought about one of the permanent filters for a while, and this one fits the Mr. Coffee just fine, but the coffee is considerable weaker flavor than with a paper filter. I compared how fast water from a faucet runs through it versus a paper filter, and it ran through the basket 3 or 4 times faster. 27 Feb 2009 Works fine I have a Mr Coffee 4 cup coffee maker and this filter fits well. It is convenient to use. I wouldn't call it less messy than a paper filter since it's sometimes difficult to get all the grounds out of the filter. But it is dishwasher safe and cleans up well. The filter produces cloudy coffee and finer grounds do get through the filter. The taste is ok, but it looks a bit unappealing in the pot. This is a handy filter to have around, but I won't give up paper filters altogether for it. –L. Smithfrom Amazon.com
