Very Happy
I am very satisfied with this grinder -- which says a lot as I had previously purchased and returned 2 others in the $140 - $200 price range. The lesson I learned was that cheap grinders just won't produce a fine enough grind for espresso. Not a problem with the Rocky which will grind your beans to a very fine powder.
Solid and durable, but could missing extras
This grinder is rock solid and grinds to the exact standards a real espresso machine needs (another reviewer said what is the difference between and 18 and 19 - my answer: Sweet vs. Bitter crema on top if you are using a quality machine). Depending on the bean, roast, humidity and day I usually go for a setting between 15 and 20 and although I can barely feel the difference the espresso maker can. Hate the grind switch location!
I have owned this grinder for about 6 months. I like its solidity and it does a good job of grinding coffee. I only use it for espresso grinding and to get the right type of grind, I have to put it about 4 steps away from the maximum grind. I am not sure that the maximum grind would be fine enough for Turkish coffee.
