Glad to be enjoying coffee again
We had a Hamilton beach coffee maker for years, never gave it much thought or appreciation. I am not a coffee connisuer. It started malfuntioning about a year ago and I checked the local stores for a hard to find replacement, I was leary about the prices of the few I did find. I picked up a cheap Mr Coffee type system and we started using it in the Fall. I noticed we were pouring out half drank mugs of coffee and a month ago we started having coffee grounds seeping out of the basket into the pot...

Nice Coffee Maker
My wife and I were looking for a bigger coffee maker than our 4 cup (2 Real cups) unit. This one caught my eye for its lack of a glass carafe. My wife says it is UGLY. That said I am all about function over looks. I like that this unit is simple to use. It dispenses coffee directly into my cup, even as it continues to brew, such as when I don't want to wait for the whole thing to finish. My only complaint is that filling the coffee maker with water using the reservoir is awkward. I find it easie...

Good coffee maker
The brew station has performed very well in the weeks I've used it, making 2-4 pots every day. Pouring water in has to be done somewhat carefully due to narrow opening at the back of the brew station but has not been too difficult. Clean up is easy. The 2-hour auto-off feature is sometimes a nuisance but it's nice not to have to remember to turn it off when I leave. I give the product a 5-star rating.
