11 May 2009 Perfect Cup of Coffee Every Time! While there are a diverse group of reviews on this little coffeemaker, I can say with confidence that each and every cup I have brewed has been perfect. I brew one cup each morning, and I usually use 3 teaspoons of grinds for two ounces of water (I like it strong). This machine is no disappointment. For the price, you cannot beat it. If it lasts only a year, I'm still waaaaaayyyy ahead relative the cost of going out for coffee - or purchasing a more expensive (and unnecessary) machine.

30 Apr 2009 Not as good as previous models I've been a big fan of Mr.Coffee makers for decades. This is the only time I've had one die on me after about 6 months. The pump inside quit pumping the water up into the basket. In addition the lid if not snapped down completely will result in coffee on you counter rather that in the decanter (as my wife found out on a few occassions). I bought another Mr. Coffee a JWX27 to replace this one. I will however keep the reciept. –W. Jimenezfrom Amazon.com
