08 Apr 2009 Makes Decent Espresso But Very Slow I've had a similar Krups machine for many years which was much, much faster. This machine takes about 2 minutes to start brewing. Once it does the expresso quality is pretty good. The steamer is very effective. It's helpful to have the steam function separate from the espresso function, i.e., you turn off the coffee maker before you turn on the steamer. –Nancy Swanfrom Amazon.com
31 Mar 2009 One of Krups all-time worst I've been making my own expresso for more than 10 years, and I've always used Krups expresso machines to do that. Whem my Allegro died, I went out and grabbed this on, primarily because it was the only model under $100 on the shelf. On the FIRST RUN then thing blew coffee chunks all over my kitchen. This is a horribly, cheaply designed piece of garbage and Krups -- a company I've considered an industry leader -- should be ashamed of themselves for producing this product.

23 Mar 2009 Doesn't last long We had this machine just over a year and it has always caused us difficulty when using it. We don't make espresso often and if we were regular espresso drinkers, I am sure the machine would have stopped working long ago. We even made sure we cleaned it thoroughly after use. I am getting ready to throw it in the garbage today after I find a machine that is well worth the money. Do not let the low price fool you! This is the worst product money can buy. –N.
