Simple, inexpensive, works great
We've had our Presto Model 0270303 electric tea pot for years. No problems. It really does heat a quart of water faster than a micorwave. In fact, it heats faster than on the stove. The short cord is a satety feature, and not a complaint for me. The lack of a shut off switch is a positive to me as switches are usually the first part to fail on an electrical appliance (note, as the cord IS the shut off switch, it will spark at the recepaicle when unplugged). My tea kettle
I love this item. It is very convenient and boils water in the blink of an eye. I am used to drink tea during my work day, so it is so fast that I can prepare my beverage every time I want it. It is beautiful, unexpensive, and I think I bought a nice device. The shippment was unexpectedly fast, the conditions were excellent. Everything was beyond expectations.
