Cheaper Isn't Always Better
Well, let's just say I was a more than a little underwhelmed by the Proctor Silex Electric Skillet. Why? For one, the lid was bent out of shape -- so much so that it wouldn't fit on the skillet. Granted, I wasn't expecting too much, as it is bargain priced, but at the same time...jeeze, you want the basics. A lid that's not made of very pliable aluminum would be one of those basic items. Secondly, it's not at all sturdy. Not that I'm planning on dropping it on the floor, but accidents do happen....
