Very poor design
From the beginning I had trouble with the lid fitting on the work bowl. Finally it completely broke. Also, you cannot put much food in the food tube or it will not work. I called Kitchenaid and was treated very poorly. I will not buy another kitchenaid food processor....

Extremely happy with this new purchase. Am enjoying the option of 3 different size bowls. Assembly is a breeze - even the juicer works easily. Very handy to have a box for storage of accessories. I used a Cuisinart for years, struggled with inconvenient assembly, and had to invent my own storage. Part of the reason I bought the KitchenAid was for the wide mouth; I was tired of cutting things up small enough to go through the small Cuisinart mouth. It's the BEST
After owning a Kitchenaid food processor for over 20 years, one of the parts broke, and I dreaded the purchase of a new one. It seems as though all of the newer appliances are just not as sturdily constructed. However, with no choice if I wanted to continue to shred and dice, I read the reviews and selected this model. It is unbelievable! It is actually better, stronger, and more user-friendly than my old model. I love this machine!
