Cool Cooking Tool
I needed a small cooktop for my work space, electric preferred for safety reasons. I didn't want to spend a lot of money and this induction cooktop was a perfect solution. The small size is ideal. I doesn't generate a lot of heat and only heats the surface it adheres to magnetically. It starts and stops the heating process quickly. Work well except that it is a little loud
It is very light and heats things up quickly and efficiently. Since it does not get hot at the bottom, you can leave it on any table while cooking. I use it to make Chinese Hot Pot dishes and it is perfect for that. The cooling fan is a little loud. If you plan to use it for a quiet dinner, then the noise may be noticeable. However for typical pot hot dinner, the guests are likely to be very loud so no one would notice it.
