05 May 2009 Extremely powerful blender I am a very avid home cook. I bought this to replace my Oster blender that worked well, but the plastic vessel kept cracking due to the heat from my soups. 03 May 2009 KitchenAid Immersion blender with attachments I love my new KitchenAid KHB300ER immersion blender. I have had it a little over one month. It works great. I use it several times a week cooking for a family of 3-4 and occasionally entertaining. I have pureed large and small pots of soup and made milkshakes with the immersion attachment. I use the chopper attachment frequently chopping all sorts of fruits and veggies. It easily chops with both coarse and fine texture. 22 Apr 2009 Do not buy this. I make a fruit smoothie every morning for breakfast. This is the second Kitchen Aid product that I purchased. It burnt out after in less than a year, so I bought a Braun. The Braun took about two years to burn out - much better design and product. Unfortunately, it's no longer manufactured so I took a chance on this much more expensive Kitchen Aid item.
