pot died got some water on top of keypad while filing , died on the spot

you figure it would have some kind of protection from water spilage or steam

i opened it up an found the electroincs all exposed should have better protection from moisture infiltration

cust service took weeks to even reply my inquiry

no repair centers on east coast??

Not very reliable in the long run I,ve had three of these (counting repacements)in as many years. After about a year they tend to go into contiuous boils and steam off all the water. –Warren Johnsonfrom Amazon.com

Looks nice, but pump doesn't work right I bought this product before I could find any significant negative reviews about it. While it looks really nice and does the job of heating up the water, the electric dispensing operation doesn't work most of the time. It works well when the item is full, but from 3/4 downwards, it starts to cavitate and is almost as it it is trying to pull liquid from a straw with a hole in it. I would have to repeatedly hit it and let go to get it working right...often 10-15 times.
