Good product @ a good price
I've used this model for more than 6 months. It hasn't leaked. It hasn't failed. The heat up time is about 75 seconds. I have checked the heated temperature vs what I wanted for coffee (190 oF), and I found it was right on. You can't "double-heat" the water.
Easy to use
I bought this for my 91 year-old grandmother so she didn't have to use the teakettle on the stove. It is easy for her to use and much safer.

Awesome!
The Sunbeam Hot Shot, is awesome. I love having my tea boiling hot and this little machine does the trick and does it so fast. It is small enough to keep on my desk at work and use anytime I want to. Only one small complaint is that I can not use a taller mug with it, just a regular size mug.
